Mr. Tumi is currently the Board Chairman of Vanguard Life Assurance Company Limited.
He is a Senior Banking Professional and a Chartered Accountant with a wealth of experience in all areas of the financial industry.
He has demonstrated a high degree of integrity through an outstanding record of rewarded achievement and possesses a proven ability to spearhead turnaround strategies and conduct strategic reviews to identify expansion opportunities.
He was the Deputy Managing Director of CAL Bank Limited before joining CIC as the Managing Director in 2011.
Mr. Awuah-Darko is a Chartered Insurer (London) and has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
He had his insurance education at the Chartered Insurance Institute/London School of Insurance after which he had an intensive programme of field training in the London Market. Joining Vanguard Assurance in 1993, he has had the benefit of offshore training at Munich Re, Germany.
He is currently the Executive Chairman of Vanguard Group. Mr. Awuah-Darko serves on several boards. He has over twenty five years’ experience in insurance industry in Ghana and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Baba is an experienced insurance professional with over twenty years in the insurance industry. He also possesses a deep knowledge of audit practice and corporate governance.
He held the position of CEO of Vanguard Assurance Company Limited and President of the Ghana Insurers Association. He has served on a number of boards across several industries including the National Insurance Commission, Ghana. Thus, has extensive board room experience.
He is Chartered Accountant and Chartered Insurer (London). He has a degree in Business Communication, a diploma in Education and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Dr. Amenyedor holds a Doctorate in Philosophy of Finance from the Central University of Nicaragua and an MBA as well as B.Sc (Admin) from the University of Ghana Business School.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Insurance UK. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Vanguard Assurance Company Limited since 2009. Prior to his appointment with Vanguard Assurance, he was the Director of Technical Operations at the National Insurance Commission (NIC).
He also worked as the Senior – Marketing Manager at Ghana Reinsurance Company (Ghana Re). Dr. Gideon Amenyedor is a part-time lecturer in Insurance at the University of Ghana Business School.
Mr.Kwabena Osei – Boateng is the Managing Director of IC Securities - Ghana (Investment Banking) and is responsible for running the Firm's investment banking business globally.
Kwabena has several years’ experience in investment banking and management consulting across several geographic markets. Across Africa, Kwabena has advised several companies in various countries, including Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Congo and South Africa.
Prior to rejoining IC Securities in an executive capacity, Kwabena worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Prior to that, Kwabena spent several years specializing in Telecoms, Media & Technology Investment Banking, first working for JP Morgan and then for LongAcre Partners (now a part of Jefferies & Company).
Mrs. Abrokwa is a Social Entrepreneur who holds BSc. in Home Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon.
She also has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management and Public Administration from GIMPA as well as Social Administration from University of Ghana. She has an enviable competence in NGO Management, Microfinance, Gender – Sensitive Planning and execution of Development Project.
Edward Akumfi – Agyemang is an Accountant and Management Consultant. He holds BSc in Administration (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana, Legon and MBA from Kingston University, California, USA. He worked in Public and Private Institutions (Akumfi Consult, A.K. Gyang & Co.) and many others as Accountant and Management Consultant.
Mr. Akumfi – Agyemang played a leading role in the establishment of Meridian BIAO Bank in Ghana by being part of the team that prepared the feasibility study and obtained the banking licence. In 1995, he was the team leader to prepare the feasibility study for the establishment of Amalgamated Bank Limited. He followed up to obtain a banking licence for the bank in 1998, produced all the operating manuals as requested by the Bank of Ghana, assisted in the recruitment of key management personnel for the bank, and at the request of the promoters, appointed as Head of Finance and Administration of the bank, became the General Manager and retired as Deputy Managing Director (Finance and Administration.)
