TIPS FOR OUR CHERISHED CLIENTS
ENQUIRIES
For any enquiries, customers are entreated to call any of branches with the following information:
- Name
- Policy number
- Old and New Staff Id
- Name of Institution (Workplace)
For transactions or further enquiries, clients can visit any of our branch offices.
POLICY DOCUMENTS
All clients are required to bring their policy documents whenever they visit any of our branches.
PREMIUM PAYMENTS
Kindly note that the responsibility of premium payments lies on policyholders. Although Vanguard Life Assurance Company limited is directed to collect premiums on behalf of our policyholders, the policyholders must make sure that agreed premiums reach our office as and when they are due. We will ONLY assist with premium collection from designated banks and employers.
We advise that all clients pay their premiums through their banks. Kindly fill out the Bank Direct form at any of our branches near you.
REFUNDS
When applying for refund of premiums, kindly provide your bank statements/payslips.
AFFIDAVITS
In the case of misplaced policy documents, clients have to swear affidavits to that effect and submit to any of our offices.
CHANGE FORM
Vanguard Life Assurance Company should be notified, should clients want to change any of the following:
- Beneficiary information
- Telephone number(s)
- Postal/ Email address
- Institutional address
CLAIMS
For claim application, all clients are required to provide the following forms of identification:
- Ghana Card
- Passport
- Driver’s License
- Voters ID card
Information required for establishing a claim, but by no way of limitation:
- Original policy document
- Death Certificate
- A valid medical certificate of cause of death.
POLICY MANAGEMENT
You are entreated to monitor all premium payments and keep all your receipts safe. Repayments of loans can be done by cash. Should you notice any cessation of premiums deductions, kindly notify us. This contributes to the growth and management of your insurance policy.
We advise that you go through your bank statements and pay slips periodically and keep records of your premium deductions.
Kindly take note of your sales executive’s name and phone number and contact him/her, should you want to make a claim or need any clarifications.

Vanguard Life Smart Target Plan provides financial support at each stage of your life. The policy is an investment-linked life assurance plan providing both life cover and savings benefits. The Smart Target Plan assures you that your investment premium is secured and shall earn a guaranteed interest. The policy pays lump sum at maturity.
